DSWA Rebrand

With over 50,000 people in their community, the DSWA was desperately in need of a more effective and well-organized website. Their look was outdated, inconsistent and the general customer experience was confusion and frustration. This rebranding project involved elevating their image across all facets of web, collateral and communication materials.

I have been blessed to work with Stephenie and her team of talented professionals. Stephenie has the ability to take a concept and bring it to life, make it better than you ever thought it could be, and with incredible attention to detail. I must share that what impresses me the most about her work is that she cares – she puts her heart into every project as if it were her own. Our website, www.DSWA.org and our blog, www.MyDSWA.org were redesigned and completely upgraded by her and her team. I am thrilled with the results! Their upgrades and improvements have positively impacted our bottom line and the growth we are experiencing as an organization. She took our branding, web presence, and overall approach to the next level of excellence and I highly recommend her personally and professionally.

DSWA : Shift in Colors

The DSWA’s original color palette was dated and used inconsistently throughout web and marketing collateral. With their market being mainly women, they wanted to create a softer, more professional and approachable palette that didn’t deviate too far from their original colors, due to the fact that certain programs and logos would need to stay in the original color family.

DSWA : The Original Website

The DSWA is an association of direct sales consultants and vendors as well as speakers, trainers, businesses and companies encompassing the direct selling industry. Their original site was almost a decade old and was crumbling on the back-end while disjointed and confusing on the front-end.

DSWA : The Rebranded + Reorganized Website

After years with their existing and cluttered site, the DSWA was pleased with the clean, strategic and well organized layouts throughout the newly redesigned site. The home page featured an area for promotional videos, a clear call to action for their membership, a rotating what’s new section to house the plethora of features and announcements and several easy to navigate sub-sections. The footer features a site map for easy navigation as well as a carousel of program and event logos for quick access. In addition to a total face lift, the back-end was upgraded to content management system (CMS) that allowed for easy updating and management of site content. Custom modules were created to allow DSWA team members to create event listings, member profiles, featured items and more as needed!

An additional area of concern was the store and creating an easy to navigate, pleasent to the eye store that converted to sales. The original site featured a single page store with a broken search link that required visitors and members to scroll when searching for products. The store also required multiple logins for members to receive discounts and a clunky shopping cart system divided between two back-end admin panels. The new store features a clean, easy to navigate landing page and allows for featured products, shortcuts and the ablity to search by keyword, author and category.

DSWA : Collateral + Printed Materials

The DSWA had a range of printed materials from event flyers to product purchasing forms. The look and feel to each was different and lacked the professionalism and polish that the organization needed. The many forms and flyers were not only redesigned to match the new look and feel, but were recreated as Word templates so that the entire DSWA team would be able to make their own edits as needed.

DSWA : Communications

An important piece of customer interaction for the DSWA was communications with their mailing list. These communications range from a weekly update to chapter event evites to solo mailings promoting products and events. The layouts were reflective of the confusing and cluttered site and varied in look depending on the template.

DSWA : Additional Logos + Design

In addition to the website, communications and printed collateral, all of the DSWA’s forthcoming events and products are designed based off the new look and feel to continually elevate their image.
