Mother’s Day Poster

Every year, Hawaii Pacific Entertainment presents Mother’s Day with the Stars. It is a brunch event that features performances by local talent and this year I had a chance to design the 2011 poster.

Mother’s Day with the Stars Poster Design

This year’s event went with a scrapbook theme, a practice and hobby that interests many mothers. The layout utilized textured elements such as doilies, buttons, fabric, stitching and more to create depth. The acts were featured as if pasted in and offset by a textured, scrapbook style flower.
