Camping and Exploring in Grand Mesa

Grand Mesa is for sure one of my new favorite places in Colorado.

Especially in early summer, the wildflowers are stunning!

I’ve mostly gone up the Mesa to ride my mountain bike and escape the heat, but I hadn’t had a chance to camp yet. Last week I finally did, and it was gorgeous, even if most of the wildflowers have burned up from the heat.

It was cool and crisp, feeling like early fall up at elevation, and that makes me so excited for the changing seasons! It will be my last fall in Colorado, and I plan on being outside watching the colors change as much as possible.
