Around here, I’m furious and heartbroken—but not at all surprised—at the recent murder of innocent women of color by a “patriotic white man” in this country. What’s worse, the media coverage is absolutely disgusting, as it always is. One very small thing you can do: support the AAPI Community Fund here.

Around here, I’m still S L O W L Y putting my place together. I checked out the local recreation center and am looking forward to getting back into some weights, cardio, and swimming laps! I can’t walk the paths near my new place because they’re so very uphill no matter which way you go. After my last attempt at a half marathon, I had pain in my peroneus brevis tendon, on the outside of the foot. It took a long time to be able to walk distances and run after that. Wearing the wrong shoes while moving seems to have flared it back up, so I need to give my feet a break! They particularly dislike uphill for whatever reason.

Around here, I’m feeling excited about my work and my new focus on documenting, sharing, and taking the personal/lifestyle blog approach again. I even ordered a new iPhone 12 Pro for photos and videos! My ancient iPhone 7 is really lagging lately.

Around here, I’m getting started on my new website! I’ve needed to update all our sites for some time (cobbler, no shoes, etc.) But now is the time, especially with the new content focus. The current site needs a brand and organizational refresh, and the whole thing needs to be wiped clean on the backend for speed. Excited to dig in!!
