Sometimes when I’m instagramming, I stop and think about how odd it is that I’m snapping these random pictures… but then I scroll through my feed or put together these posts and I just adore each and every shot. Little snaps and captures of my world and life. These photos are as memorable to me as the posed ones with family and on vacations. This is my life, and I love being able to remember and celebrate the little, random bits and pieces.
We bought a new sink faucet because my house is eight years old and it’s starting to show. I figure I’ll upgrade this house for selling one broken piece at a time! We (well, my love) adopted a Bonsai tree and I admired the little cactus plants and thought about the garden I want to grow this spring.
I’m almost through week four of the Metabolic Balance program I’m doing… or “the cleanse” as I call it. It’s been surprisingly easy and enjoyable, though I’ve also enjoyed my cheat meals these past couple weekends. Most recently: Thai and brownies, because that’s how I roll. I’m down 12lbs and feel AWESOME.
Date nights/days have included hitting up the wood store (because that’s how my guy rolls, lol), monster mini golf and seeing Thor at the dollar theater. I’m busy, busy with work, but am making my morning routine a priority again.
And walking… definitely more walking.
It’s also been pretty cold and snowy here in Denver, and I’m loving every minute of it. We received about 4″ earlier this week and didn’t get above 10* yesterday! I’m staying warm with my little furballs, fuzzy slippers and jammy pants. 🙂
