Around Here…

Played tourist this last weekend. The picture above is my favorite spot on the whole island, Eternity Bay. Such a beautiful little spot. I love the energy and the views from up above on the rocks. Gorgeous.

Proud to say I finished the Great Aloha Run on Monday! I hadn’t really been training and I wasn’t sure how I’d do having only gone 6 miles with LOTS of walk breaks, but I made it the full 8.15 miles with only a few walk breaks! I ran with my mom and her co-worker, and I will say, having running buddies makes a HUGE difference. I have lots of thoughts on fitness (having been someone who could NOT make it a mile when I started without lots of huffing, puffing and whining). I’ll share these next week.

I’ve been working on a lot of new features for the site! Blog posts, Q+A Wednesday and some more personal posts. Another round of Foundations for Unshakable this summer possible, my first Awesome Life Guide, Awesome Life TV™ episodes… lots of good stuff. This is Dexter, keeping his ears on the neighbors outside while we plot out the next couple months of our marketing plan.

It’s been awhile since I volunteered and I really miss it. Spent a Saturday morning volunteering with the local group, HIHO at the Hawaii State Band Festival. Lots of fun and lots of cute kiddos there to compete.

There’s still a lot happening this month… I’m moving in 2.5 months and I have a pretty solid “Hawaii Bucket List” going that I need to start checking things of off!
