Who do you need to be?

I want you to grab a pen and a piece of paper, and write down your answer to this question: what is the next goal in your business?

(Go big!)

Awesome. Now that you have that, I want you to make a list of who you need to be in order to bring that next big goal to fruition.

(List everything that comes to mind!)

You might be wondering why this is important when there are offerings to launch, marketing strategies to implement, and networking to be done.

Let me be clear: it’s everything important and essential.

Far too many business owners (myself included at one time) focus solely on external action. Which, while important, is only half the conversation and ingredients required for success.

The DOING is important and necessary, because it’s what makes things happen. But WHO YOU ARE BEING has a tremendous impact on whether or not you, your business, and your income moves to the next level. Shifting who you’re being in your life, relationships, and work allows you to step into what comes next with ease, and makes your dreams/visions/goals a reality more quickly.

So, tell me: who do you need to be to make your next big goal a reality?

Remembering that…

You will not become that person when you reach that goal.
You will reach that goal by becoming that person NOW.

Let me give you some examples:

  • Carry yourself with confidence and own your expertise
  • Dress the part, act as if, walk the talk, be that person now
  • Stand in your power and share your voice
  • Bring on a skilled team member (or more) so you can focus on your genius
  • Invest in yourself, your growth, your business
  • Hire professionals rather than doing it yourself

You have your list, start stepping up who you’re BEING right now and watch as your business and income begin to follow suit.

And yes, step up your website and your online presence while you’re at it. It should reflect who you’re becoming, not who you used to be.
