Chasing Wildflowers Solo Before the Holiday Weekend

I’m not a fan of holiday weekends.

Everyone goes outside and takes over nature!

I’ve also been feeling a need to nest and take care of some things at home. So this Memorial Day weekend I’m planning to hunker down and get those things done while everyone else crowds the great outdoors.

So I took Thursday night and drove down some of my favorite back roads to find wildflowers. I wasn’t disappointed!

It was just the reset I needed before a long weekend at home.

There are so many 4×4 roads in this area that I can’t wait to explore.

Plus, this is one of my favorite secret spots because no one is ever there!
