Falling Through the Void

December 18, 2019

I still vividly remember the first time I fell through the void.

At the time, I didn’t really know what happened. It felt like an out of body experience and all I knew was that, at one point, I was devastated and heartbroken… and a moment later, I was at peace with the Universe.

Suddenly, it all made sense. I learned more about myself and my purpose at that single moment than I had in the many years before.

It took me a while to learn more about the void.

The void is a space of nothingness… it’s neither here nor there. It’s unknown. It’s empty. It can feel like all consuming death and endless uncertainty.

But it’s also the space where all the magic happens… the doorway, the gateway, the passageway to everything beautiful. You just have to move through and beyond it.

The concept of the void is one that’s near and dear to my heart for so many reasons… and I talk more about what it means and how I came to understand it in my book, Unravel.

Just know this: when you drop deep into the depths of what’s hard and what hurts, past the point you feel it might actually consume you… you will move through this void. And on the other side you will find more peace, joy, love, and purpose than you’ve ever known. If you’re willing to do deeper than you’ve ever gone before.
