How to Make a Comeback in the Aftermath

December 22, 2018

Bumping up against walls where there used to be doors.

That was my experience of really “coming back” from the journey. Trying to step back into my own life, work, and relationships was the most frustrating experience. I could SEE and VISUALIZE how I did things before, yet I just couldn’t do them anymore. It was like banging my head against a brick wall, over and over again.

You don’t just stroll back into your life the way it was after the journey when you’ve been altered so deeply to your core. That’s not how it works.

You have to learn the process of reorienting… renegotiating… redefining.
Everything about yourself, your life, your work, your relationships.

That takes discernment. Discernment between, “do I keep fighting like hell to ‘get back’ what I feel like I’ve lost?” Or, “do I turn and start walking in a completely new direction?” Only you will know the answer.

Sharing more about this in today’s video… 💕
