The Money Beliefs You MUST Ditch Right Now!

December 25, 2019

Are you still uncomfortable about money, even though your bank statements suggest you don’t have anything to worry about?

Then, it’s time to do a quick mindset check and see what’s making you feel uneasy around something basic that shouldn’t hold you back.

Let’s take a look at some of the money beliefs that do you more harm than good and learn how to ditch them!

Belief no. 1: I need to save up as much as I can – you’ll never know when money will stop coming!

First of all, let me say that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with saving money.

However, there’s a difference between automating your savings account (so you save part of your income on a regular basis) and being scared of not saving every penny!

It’s just that when you’re afraid of running out of money, that’s the message you send out to the Universe… the message of lacking and scarcity!

I can’t tell you how many people— some of them earning over six-figures— are afraid of losing their fortune. That’s often the consequence of growing up in a household where money was always tight. But if you’re determined to unlock your true potential, ditch the scarcity mindset.

Replace it with: I’m comfortable around money and I trust myself enough to know that if I EVER run out of money, I can always find a way to earn more!

Belief no. 2: I have to work hard to earn a living!

Did your parents always tell you that you need to work hard to earn a decent living?

Well, that probably used to be true at some point in the last century… but nowadays, you don’t need to kill yourself with work to live a life of abundance.

Work smart, not hard.

The secret here lies in value-based pricing. Yes, you probably can do something in a couple of hours… but the value your clients get often exceeds the number of hours worked!

Also, let’s not forget about all the wonderful options of acquiring some passive income, investing in what you believe is going to get you the best return and so on!

Replace it with: My skillset is valuable enough for me to get paid what I deserve! Money comes easy to me!

Belief no. 3: I’m not supposed to ask for more because that means I’m not grateful for what I have.

Raise your hand if your brain has ever made you take the good ol’ gratitude guilt trip! *shyly raises hand*

The truth is, asking and wanting more out of life doesn’t make you ungrateful.

And who says that more has only to do with more money? It can mean more knowledge, more experiences, and more reasons to be grateful for!

Striving for more means you’re refusing to stay idle… even if you’re quite happy with what you already have!

Replace with: I use gratitude as a magnet to attract abundance in all areas of my life!

Belief no. 4: Money changes people. Besides, I wouldn’t know what to do with all that money anyway, so I’m better off without it!

We’ve all heard the horror stories of lottery winners going bankrupt within a few years of hitting the jackpot, or musicians and athletes carelessly squandering away millions of dollars.

So yes, it’s natural to think that money’s going to change you and that more money equals more trouble!

But the thing is, money never really changes someone—it just reveals their true personality, values, beliefs, and subconscious programming. If you’re a hardworking individual with a go-getter attitude (who knows how to handle money), there’s definitely no need to limit yourself in this way.

Need to give your brain some rational proof here? Well then, simply google some inspiring success stories of people who amassed millions of dollars and managed to transform their lives for the better!

Plus, you can always ask an expert if you’re unsure how to handle your money!

Replace it with: I trust myself enough to allow myself to earn and attract the abundance I deserve.
