DON’T ASK YOURSELF “WHY ME?”
Focus on the “now what?”
There are many times you need to know the reason why something happened… but in the aftermath of grief, trauma, and challenging chapters, asking yourself this can be pure torture.
One thing’s clear: life won’t ever be the same again. And even though it’s true you will grow in and change in beautiful ways as a result of it, it doesn’t feel anything close to okay right now. But rather than sit in the “why me”, lean into the “now what?”
That might be as simple as getting out of bed and handling one small task. Or it might be as big as quitting your job and leaving a relationship that doesn’t serve you.
